Pilates Mat

Pilates classes at Moonshot Centre take place on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00pm with Fitness Instructor and Pilates Tutor, Nickolove Lovemore. Classes take place in a large dance studio which has natural light. High quality yoga mats are provided but feel free to bring your own mat if you have one.

Pilates enhances your body awareness and helps you increase your muscular strength and flexibility while improving your alignment and posture. There is a lot of emphasis on developing core strength in Pilates and many individuals find this helps to relieve back pain. In fact, many physiotherapists recommend Pilates to their clients.

Another benefit of Pilates is that it helps you to relax and helps to boost your concentration and your focus. It's an ideal way to unwind after a hectic day at work. Classes are just £5.00 per session and you can pay on the day.

I have been attending this Pilates class for over a year now and am still enjoying the sessions we have every week. I feel it has given me confidence in my appearance and better attitude to my well-being. The classes are full of friendly people who I enjoy being around and the instructor is very approachable in different situations, the centre where the sessions are held is very spacious and well-lit with natural lighting.


PAR-Q stand for Phyical Acitivity Readiness Questionnaire. It's just a series of questions which will tell you if you should check with your doctor before you change your physica activity program. So, If you 'd like to attend a class please download and complete our PAR-Q. Please bring the form with you when you come to your first class.
